Corey Chapman, Administrator & Project Leader of YaBB, has announced that YaBB 2.2.2 has been officially released to the public! Here is a reprint of Corey's recent announcement: In a new effort to reduce early and often, the YaBB Team is proud to announce version 2.2.2 of the popular Yet another Bulletin Board forum system. Still written in the Perl language, this system is one of the most secure and reliable message boards in existence. Trust the open source project that has been around for 8 years!
This release contains several bug fixes, performance improvements, and layout improvements reported as issues by users of YaBB 2.2.1. It is not considered a critical update, but as always, upgrading is easy and recommended.

Corey Chapman, Administrator & Project Leader of YaBB, has announced that YaBB is in the running to be a nominee for the SourceForge.net 2008 Community Choice Awards. Here is the announcement from Corey: They're back! The SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards have returned for 2008 so you can recognize projects that stand taller than the rest.
We invite you to nominate YaBB until mid June. Remember that last year we won a nomination and narrowly missed winning an award!
The projects with the most nominations will become finalists, and the final vote will open in late June. Look for the Community Choice Awards nomination button at http://sourceforge.net/projects/yabb or click on Nominate this project. |
